सुहेल काकोरवी की ग़ज़ल (ज़मीने ग़ालिब पर)
चेहरे पे आरज़ू के अजब रंगो नूर था
इख़फ़ा का आज वादए हुस्ने ज़हूर था
Upon the face of desire, there were unique colors and light
The Latent Divine intends to expose what is excessively bright
कुछ भी कहे वो इसलिए उलझन में ही रहा
वो चाहता नहीं था मगर मुझसे दूर था
Let her say anything bit different is the reality
Remains away from me when does not wish she
उसके करम से दीद हुई मेरी कामयाब
हिम्मत शिकन वो क़िस्साये मूसा था तूर था
It was by His grace that blessed was my sight thank I
Discouraging was the tale of Moses and Mount Sinai
अपनाया मुझको छोड़ के उसने तो ये खुला
कुछ शयेबा तो अक़्ल का उसमें ज़रूर था
She reconciled after breaking off relations with me
There must be some sense so behaved wisely
उसको पता ज़रूर था फानी है कायनात
अफसोस उसको हुस्न पे फिर भी ग़ुरूर था
The one was aware of the fact that universe is transitory
Despite knowing that well remained in beauty the vanity
जाएज़ न होती क्यों वो मेरी मैकशी सुहैल
जब मैंने पी ख़याले शराबे तहूर था
Just was my wine consuming because of the reason clear
Because while drinking I thought of pious wine with no fear
इख़फ़ा=रहस्य,ज़हूर=स्पष्ट, =फानी=नाशवान,कायनात=संसार,शये
