Ghazal;
अच्छा मेरी वफ़ा का ये तूने सिला दिया
दीवाना था मैं होश सरापा बना दिया
You have rewarded me well of my love sincerity
Made me sagacious deprived me of my lunacy
कैसा शबे विसाल में झंझट मिटा दिया
मैं सो चूका था उसने अचानक जगा दिया
She has erased , hampered love unity
I slept already, but abruptly awakened me she
तू ने खिज़ां के ज़ोर को झटका बड़ा दिया
एक दम रुख़े बहार से पर्दा उठा दिया
You have given a blow to autumn and its severity
Raised the curtain from the face of spring smartly
बुलबुल की मौत उसकी बकाये दवाम है
क़ुदरत ने उसको फूल के दिल में छुपा दिया
The end of the nightingale is eternity of her
Nature hid her in the heart of the flower
मतलब निकाल लेने का उसमें हुनर जो था
मैंने वही तो सीखा जो उसने सिखा दिया
She had the skill to avail the opportunity
I did the same what I learnt in totality
ये जाएगी बला कि इशारा मुझे मिला
क़ब्ज़े में जिसके जान है वो मुस्कुरा दिया
This curse will remain no more I got the hint
One smiled in whose grip is my life, isn’t?
था फासलों का दर्द तो आज़ादियों की प्यास
ऐसे में सब्र तूने मुझे कर्बला दिया
There had been pain of distance and thirst to be free
Patience I got from Karbala’s catastrophe
किसको वबाये आम में मरना पसंद था
अच्छा किया जो आपने खंजर चला दिया
Who wishes to die in pandemic altogether?
Did well that you used dagger at this juncture
गर हुस्न ये न करता तो रहता सपाट इश्क़
जो आरज़ू के जाल में दिल को फंसा दिया
The love would have remained monotonous had not done this the beauty
That entangled my heart in the net of desire truly
जितना मैं खुद पे नाज़ करुँ कम है वो सुहैल
उसने मेरे वजूद से अपना पता दिया
How much can I proud of this reality?
That he made my being his identity
