लखनऊ। पूरे देश में बेहतर चिकित्सा के लिए अपनी एक अलग पहचान बना चुके उत्तर प्रदेश की राजधानी लखनऊ स्थित किंग जॉर्ज मेडिकल यूनिवर्सिटी (केजीएमयू) में रैगिंग थमने का नाम नहीं ले रही है। मामला पकड़ में आने के बाद मंगलवार को 6 छात्रों को निलंबित कर दिया गया है। उन्हें हॉस्टल से भी निष्कासित कर दिया गया है। पूरे मामले की जांच के लिए चीफ प्रॉक्टर के नेतृत्व में कमेटी गठित की गई है। कमेटी इसकी रिपोर्ट के आधार पर आरोपी छात्रों के खिलाफ आगे की कार्यवाही करेगी। पीड़ित छात्रों ने एंटी रैगिंग सेल में शिकायत की थी। सीनियर छात्र मोबाइल पर कोर्स के बजाय रैगिंग लिटरेचर पढ़ाने का निर्देश देते थे।
एमबीबीएस-बीडीएस प्रथम वर्ष के छात्र केजीएमयू के न्यू सीवी हॉस्टल में रहते हैं। यहां के छात्रों ने यूजीसी की एंटी रैगिंग हेल्पलाइन पर शिकायत कर बताया कि सीनियर छात्र रैगिंग कर रहे हैं। 12 अक्तूबर की शाम करीब 8.47 बजे एंटी रैगिंग सेल ने केजीएमयू प्रशासन को सूचना दी। इस सूचना ने केजीएमयू प्रशासन की नींद उड़ा दी। आनन फानन में केजीएमयू की एंटी रैगिंग सेल ने न्यू सीवी हॉस्टल पहुंच कर जांच पड़ताल की। सभी छात्रों के कमरे की जांच के साथ ही उनका मोबाइल भी जब्त कर लिया। मोबाइल में रैगिंग संबंधी कई मैसेज मिले हैं। इस आधार पर केजीएमयू प्रशासन ने मंगलवार को छह छात्रों को निलंबित कर दिया है। इन्हें हॉस्टल से भी निष्कासित कर दिया गया है। इनके परिसर में घुसने पर पाबंदी लगा दी गई है।
रैगिंग के आरोप में निलंबित होने वाले सभी छात्र वर्ष 2017 बैच के हैं। इसमें हरदीप सिंह राणा, अंचल जैन, गुलाम हसन, उत्कर्ष गंगवार, रामप्रवेश गुप्ता, अनिमेश तरैया शामिल हैं। इन सभी को तत्काल हॉस्टल खाली करने का निर्देष दिया गया है। खास बात यह है कि आरोपी छात्रों के घरवालों को भी केजीएमयू प्रशासन ने चिट्ठी भेजी है। केजीएमयू आने वाले छात्रों को कुलपति, डीन, चीफ प्रॉक्टर व अन्य के सामने रैगिंग न करने की शपथ दिलाई जाती है। इसके बाद भी रैगिंग जारी है। माहभर पहले भी केजीएमयू में रैगिंग का मामला सामने आया था। उस समय पूरे बैच पर एक-एक हजार रुपये का जुर्माना लगाया गया था। केजीएमयू के चीफ प्रॉक्टर प्रो.आरएएस कुशवाहा ने कहा कि, शिकायत केआधार पर त्वरित जांच की गई। शिकायत सही पाए जाने पर छह छात्रों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की गई है। विस्तृत जांच के लिए कमेटी गठित है। रिपोर्ट आने पर संबंधित छात्रों के मामले में निर्णय लिया जाएगा।
