मुंबई। मॉनिटरी पॉलिसी कमिटी (एमपीसी) की मीटिंग से पहले लगातार तीसरी बार बैंकों ने ब्याज दरों में बढ़ोतरी कर दी है। माना जा रहा है कि एमपीसी कमिटी की मीटिंग में इस हफ्ते ब्याज दरों में बढ़ोतरी का ऐलान होगा, लेकिन एसबीआई, आईसीआईसीआई, पीएनबी और एचडीएफसी ने उससे पहले ही लोन महंगा कर दिया है।देश के सबसे बड़े बैंक एसबीआई ने मार्जिन कॉस्ट ऑफ फंड बेस्ड लेंडिंग रेट (एमसीएलआर) में 0.05 पर्सेंट की बढ़ोतरी की। उसकी नई दरें सोमवार से लागू हो गई हैं। वहीं, प्राइवेट सेक्टर के आईसीआईसीआई बैंक ने एमसीएलआर में 0.1 पर्सेंट का इजाफा किया है। शनिवार को पीएनबी ने शॉर्ट टर्म लोन के लिए मार्जिनल कॉस्ट ऑफ फंड बेस्ड लेंडिंग रेट को 0.2 पर्सेंट बढ़ाया था। देश की सबसे बड़ी होम लोन कंपनी एचडीएफसी ने भी रिटेल प्राइस लेंडिंग रेट (आरपीएलआर) में तत्काल प्रभाव से 0.10 पर्सेंट की बढ़ोतरी की है। अलग-अलग स्लैब के लोन के लिए नई दरें 8.80 से 9.05 पर्सेंट के बीच होंगी। ब्याज दरों का पारंपरिक तरीका यह रहा है कि रिजर्व बैंक के पॉलिसी रेट में बदलाव करने के बाद बैंक इंटरेस्ट रेट की समीक्षा करते थे। हालांकि, इधर लगातार तीसरी बार मॉनेटरी पॉलिसी से पहले बैंकों ने ब्याज दरों में बढ़ोतरी की है। रिजर्व बैंक की एमपीसी की मीटिंग शुक्रवार, 5 अक्टूबर को होने वाली है। माना जा रहा है कि इसमें ब्याज दरों को बढ़ाने का ऐलान किया जा सकता है। इससे पहले अगस्त की पॉलिसी मीटिंग में रिजर्व बैंक ने रेपो रेट में 0.25 पर्सेंट की बढ़ोतरी की थी। इसके साथ पॉलिसी रेट 6.50 पर्सेंट हो गया था। रुपये में गिरावट और कच्चे तेल के दाम में तेजी को देखते हुए रिजर्व बैंक ब्याज दरों में बढ़ोतरी कर रहा है। उसका मानना है कि रुपये की वैल्यू कम होने और तेल के इंपोर्ट बिल में बढ़ोतरी से महंगाई पर दबाव बढ़ेगा। सिंगापुर बेस्ड डीबीएस बैंक की इंडिया इकनॉमिस्ट राधिका राव ने एक रिसर्च नोट में लिखा, ‘मार्केट में इधर उतार-चढ़ाव बढ़ा है और रुपये में तेज गिरावट आई है। इसलिए रिजर्व बैंक अगली मीटिंग में ब्याज दरों में बढ़ोतरी कर सकता है। ऐसा भी लग रहा है कि इस साल दरों में वह 0.25 पर्सेंट की अतिरिक्त बढ़ोतरी कर सकता है।
