नई दिल्ली। आम जनता के लिए अच्छी खबर है। विदेशों की तरह पर अब भारत में भी लोगों को सार्वजनिक वाई-फाई की सुविधा मिलेगी। इसके लिए दूरसंचार विभाग ने देश में 10 लाख सार्वजनिक वाई-फाई हॉटस्पॉट लगाने को मंजूरी दे दी है। ‘भारत वाई-फाई’ नाम की इस योजना की शुरुआत 25 अक्तूबर को पीएम मोदी करेंगे और अगले साल मार्च 2019 तक इसे पूर्ण रूप से लागू करने की योजना है।खास बात यह है कि इस योजना के तहत किसी भी मोबाइल कंपनी का ग्राहक कोई भी वाई-फाई हॉटस्पॉट का इस्तेमाल कर सकेगा। सूत्रों के अनुसार पहले 5 लाख सार्वजनिक वाई-फाई हॉटस्पॉट लगाने की योजना थी, जिसे बढ़ाकर 10 लाख कर दिया गया है। गौर हो कि पहले इस मामले में दूरसंचार कंपनियों ने कुछ आपत्तियां दर्ज की थीं, लेकिन अब सभी भारत वाई-फाई योजना में अपनी भूमिका निभाने को तैयार हैं।दूरसंचार विभाग का कहना है कि इससे निजी क्षेत्र के लोगों को बड़े पैमाने पर काम मिलेगा और साथ ही जरूरत के मुताबिक छोटे इंटरनेट रिचार्ज का पैक मिल सकेगा। मंत्रालय के मुताबिक, दूरसंचार विभाग लाइसेंस की शर्तों में बदलाव करेगा और कंपनियों को ढांचागत व्यवस्था साझा करने की अनुमति दी जाएगी।
