नई दिल्ली। देशभर में संविधान निर्माता बाबा साहब भीमराव अंबेडकर की 127वीं जयंती के मौके पर याद किया जा रहा है।भारतीय संविधान के रचयिता, समाज सुधारक और महान नेता डॉक्टर भीमराव अंबेडकर का आज जन्मदिन है। भारत ही नहीं बल्कि दुनिया भर में धूमधाम से अंबेडकर जयंती मनाई जाती है।अंबेडकर जयंती को भारत में समानता दिवस और ज्ञान दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाता है।जब तक आप सामाजिक स्वतंत्रता नहीं हासिल कर लेते,कानून आपको जो भी स्वतंत्रता देता है वो आपके लिये बेमानी है।भीमराव अंबेडकर का जन्म 14 अप्रैल 1891 को मध्य प्रदेश के एक छोटे से गांव में हुआ था। हालांकि उनका परिवार मराठी था और मूल रूप से महाराष्ट्र के रत्नागिरी जिले के आंबडवे गांव से था। उनके पिता का नाम रामजी मालोजी सकपाल और मां भीमाबाई थीं। अंबेडकर महार जाति के थे। इस जाति के लोगों को समाज में अछूत माना जाता था और उनके साथ भेदभाव किया जाता था।भीमराव अंबेडकर मुंबई की एल्फिंस्टन रोड पर स्थित गवर्नमेंट स्कूल के पहले अछूत छात्र बने।1913 में अमेरिका की कोलंबिया यूनिवर्सिटी में पढ़ने के लिए भीमराव का चयन किया गया, जहां से उन्होंने राजनीति विज्ञान में ग्रेजुएशन किया। 1916 में उन्हें एक शोध के लिए पीएचडी से सम्मानित किया गया।अंबेडकर लंदन से अर्थशास्त्र में डॉक्टरेट करना चाहते थे लेकिन स्कॉलरशिप खत्म हो जाने की वजह से उन्हें बीच में ही पढ़ाई छोड़कर वापस भारत आना पड़ा। मुंबई के सिडनेम कॉलेज में प्रोफेसर नियुक्त हो गए।1923 में उन्होंने ‘The Problem of the Rupee’ नाम से अपना शोध पूरा किया और लंदन यूनिवर्सिटी ने उन्हें डॉक्टर्स ऑफ साइंस की उपाधि दी। 1927 में कोलंबंनिया यूनिवर्सिटी ने भी उन्हें पीएचडी दी। अंबेडकर ने 1936 में स्वतंत्र लेबर पार्टी की स्थापना की। इस पार्टी ने 1937 में केंद्रीय विधानसभा चुनावों मे 15 सीटें जीती।डॉ. भीमराव अंबेडकर प्रकांड विद्वान थे। स्वतंत्र भारत का पहला कानून मंत्री बनाया गया। इतना ही नहीं 29 अगस्त 1947 को अंबेडकर को भारत के संविधान मसौदा समिति का अध्यक्ष नियुक्त किया गया। मार्च 1952 में उन्हें राज्य सभा के लिए नियुक्त किया गया और फिर अपनी मृत्यु तक वो इस सदन के सदस्य रहे।अंबेडकर ने 1956 में अपनी आखिरी किताब बौद्ध धर्म पर लिखी जिसका नाम था ‘द बुद्ध एंड हिज़ धम्म’. यह किताब उनकी मृत्यु के बाद 1957 में प्रकाशित हुई।डॉक्टर अंबेडकर को डायबिटीज था। अपनी आखिरी किताब ‘द बुद्ध एंड हिज़ धम्म’ को पूरा करने के तीन दिन बाद 6 दिसंबर 1956 को दिल्ली में उनका निधन हो गया।.उनका अंतिम संस्कार मुंबई में बौद्ध रीति-रिवाज के साथ हुआ।उनके अंतिम संस्कार के समय उन्हें साक्षी मानकर करीब 10 लाख समर्थकों ने बौद्ध धर्म की दीक्षा ली थी।
