नई दिल्ली। आईएनएक्स मीडिया केस में पूर्व वित्त मंत्री पी चिदंबरम के बेटे कार्ति चिदंबरम ने ईडी की समन के खिलाफ सुप्रीम कोर्ट का दरवाजा खटखटाया है। ईडी के समन को रद्द करने के लिए कार्ति ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट में याचिका दायर की है। ईडी का आरोप है कि कार्ति ने आईएनएक्स मीडिया केस में पैसे लेकर अपने प्रभाव का इस्तेमाल करते हुए विदेशी निवेश की अनुमति दिलाने में मदद की थी। आपको बता दें कि कार्ती पहले ही सीबीआई कस्टडी में हैं, उन्हें चेन्नई एयरपोर्ट से गिरफ्तार किया गया था। जिसके बाद कोर्ट ने 6 मार्च तक के लिए उन्हें सीबीआई की हिरासत में भेज दिया था।
अपनी याचिका में कार्ति ने ईडी के समन को चुनौती दी है। याचिका में उन्होंने कहा है कि सीबीआई की ओर से दायर एफआईआर के आधार पर नोटिस भेजने का ईडी को अधिकार नहीं है। कार्ति के वकील ने इस बाबत सुप्रीम कोर्ट में याचिका दायर की है, जिसकी सुनवाई सीजेआई दीपक मिश्रा, डीवाई चंद्रचूड़ व जस्टिस एएम खानविलकर करेंगे। इस मामले की सुनवाई मंगलवार को होगी। पिछले हफ्ते दिल्ली की पटियाला हाई कोर्ट ने कार्ति के सीए एस भाष्करम की जमानत याचिका पर अपना फैसला सुरक्षित रख लिया था।
कार्ति चिदंबरम को सीबीआई ने बुधवार को चेन्नई एयरपोर्ट से गिरफ्तार किया था। कार्ति लंदन से बिजनेस ट्रिप से जब लौटे थे, तभी उन्हें चेन्नई एयरपोर्ट पर गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया। इसके बाद उन्हें दिल्ली ले जाया गया था। शुक्रवार को कार्ति से 7 घंटे की मैराथन पूछताछ की गई, सीबीआई ने कार्ती चिंदबरम से सीबीआई मुख्यालय में पूछताछ की थी, इस दौरान कार्ती चिंदबरम के वकील भी सीबीआई मुख्यालय में मौजूद थे।
