लंदन : अमेरिकी अंतरिक्ष एजेंसी नासा के केप्लर स्पेस टेलिस्कोप ने हमारे सौर मंडल के बाहर जीवन की संभावना वाले पृथ्वी जैसे नए ग्रह को ढूंढ निकाला है। नासा की ओर से यह बड़ी घोषणा शुक्रवार को की गयी। नासा ने केप्लर स्पेस टेलीस्कोप और आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस के जरिए एक सोलर सिस्टम ढूंढ़ा है, जिसमें हमारे सोलर सिस्टम की तरह ही 8 ग्रह हैं। नासा ने अपने बयान में कहा है कि हमारे सोलर सिस्टम में एक तारे के चारों ओर घूमने वाले सबसे ज्यादा ग्रह हैं। हालांकि पृथ्वी को छोड़कर कोई भी मानव जीवन के अनुकूल नहीं है।
केप्लर ने पुष्टि किया कि अन्य तारों के चारों ओर कई ग्रह चक्कर काटते हैं, बिल्कुल हमारे सूर्य की तरह। अमेरिकी अंतरिक्ष एजेंसी नासा की ओर से बड़ी घोषणा की गयी। शोधकर्ताओं ने इस खोज को गूगल की मदद से मशीन लर्निंग के जरिए अंजाम दिया है। मशीन लर्निंग आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस का एक हिस्सा है जो केप्लर के डाटा को विश्लेषित करती है। 8 ग्रहों वाले इस नए सोलर सिस्टम में केप्लर-90 नाम के तारे के चारों ओर अन्य ग्रह घूम रहे हैं। ये सोलर सिस्टम 2,545 प्रकाश वर्ष की दूरी पर है। ऑस्टिन स्थित टेक्सास यूनिवर्सिटी के खगोलशास्त्री एंड्रयू वंडरबर्ग ने कहा कि केप्लर-90 स्टार सिस्टम हमारे सोलर सिस्टम के मिनी वर्जन की तरह है। उन्होंने कहा कि ‘हमारे पास छोटे ग्रह अंदर की ओर हैं और बड़े ग्रह बाहर की तरह, लेकिन सब कुछ बहुत करीब है।
नए खोज गए सोलर सिस्टम में केप्लर-90आई पृथ्वी की तरह एक पथरीला ग्रह है। लेकिन यह अपने आर्बिट में हर 14.4 दिन पर एक बार घूम जाता है। यानी केप्लर-90आई पर एक पृथ्वी की तरह एक वर्ष का समय सिर्फ दो हफ्तों का होगा। वंडरबर्ग ने कहा, ‘केप्लर-90द्ब उस तरह की जगह नहीं है, जहां मैं जाना चाहूंगा उसका धरातल बहुत ही ज्यादा गर्म है। नासा ने इस ग्रह के तापमान का आकलन किया है और यह करीब 800 डिग्री फारेनहाइट (426 डिग्री सेल्सियस) है, यह तापमान बुध ग्रह के बराबर है, जोकि सूर्य के बेहद करीब है। बता दें कि केप्लर स्पेस टेलीस्कोप को 2009 में लॉन्च किया गया था, और इसने करीब 1,50,000 तारों को स्कैन किया है। एस्ट्रोनॉमर्स ने केप्लर डाटा के जरिए अब तक 2,500 ग्रहों की खोज की है।
