नई दिल्ली। रेल मंत्री पीयूष गोयल ने दिल्ली में कार्यक्रम के दौरान कहा कि वह दिन अब दूर नहीं जब रेलगाडिय़ों के सभी डिब्बों में सीसीटीवी कैमरे लगेंगे। इतना ही नहीं रेलवे स्टेशन और प्लेटफॉर्म में भी सीसीटीवी कैमरे लगेंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि यात्रियों की सुरक्षा रेलवे की प्राथमिकता है। पीयूष गोयल ने कहा कि सभी टीटीई और रेलवे पुलिस फोर्स को अपनी ड्यूटी के दौरान यूनिफॉर्म में रहना होगा। उन्होंने कहा कि भारतीय रेलवे की अभी के समय में सबसे बड़ी आवश्यकता सुरक्षा है। उन्होंने कहा कि रेलवे के सफर को और सुरक्षित बनाने के लिए भारत रेलवे, रेल टेक और इसरो मिलकर काम कर रहे हैं ताकि स्पेस टेक्नोलॉजी की मदद से यात्रा को सुरक्षित बनाया जा सके। रेल मंत्री ने हाल ही में अधिकारियों से कहा है कि ट्रेनों में परोसे जाने वाले खाने और उसकी आपूर्ति करने वाले ठेकेदारों के बारे में जानकारी दी जाए। इतना ही नहीं रेलवे में खान-पान की सेवा को सुधारने की लगातार कोशिश की जाए।
