मोबाइल नंबर को 6 फरवरी तक आधार से लिंक करवाना जरूरी

सरकार ने कोर्ट में कहा कि ”सभी मोबाइल फोन नंबरों को ई-केवाईसी वेरिफिकेशन के तहत आधार से लिंक करवाना जरूरी है. इसके साथ ही नए बैंक खाते खुलवाने के लिए भी आधार कार्ड अनिवार्य है. अगर 6 फरवरी तक सभी यूजर के लिए ऐसा करना अनिवार्य होगा.”
6 फरवरी 2017 को सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने एटॉर्नी जनरल के बयान और सरकार के हलफनामे के आधार पर मोबाईल नंबर वेरिफिकेशन वाले मामले का निपटारा किया था.
इससे पहले सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने मोबाईल नंबर को आधार कार्ड से लिंक किए जाने के खिलाफ दायर याचिका पर सरकार और मोबाईल कंपनियों को नोटिस जारी किया था.
