कोलकाता। 40 किलो वजन की एक तेलिया भोला (शंकर प्रजाति) गोल्डेन मछली लगभग आठ लाख रुपये में बिकी है। बुधवार को पूर्व मेदिनीपुर जिले के दीघा के मोहना मत्स्य नीलाम केंद्र में इस मछली पर जमकर बोली लगी और आखिर में प्रति किलोग्राम 19,000 रुपये तक पहुंच गई। बुधवार सुबह मंदारमणि कालिंदी के रहने वाले मछुआरे शेख जाकिर हुसैन के जाल में यह मछली फंसी थी। करीब पांच फुट लंबी इस मछली को वजन किया गया तो 40 किलोग्राम निकला। बताया गया है कि इस तरह की गोल्डन मछली आमतौर पर गहरे समुद्र में पाई जाती है और प्रजनन के लिए तटवर्ती इलाकों में आती है। नीलामी के लिए जैसे ही मछली को मत्स्य केंद्र में लाया गया, वैसे ही वहां भीड़ एकत्रित होने लगी। इसके बाद बोली शुरू हुई। दोपहर 12 बजे तक इस मछली की कीमत प्रति किलोग्राम 19 हजार रुपये तक पहुंच गई। कुल मिलाकर उक्त मछली की कीमत 7.60 लाख रुपये निर्धारित हुई और देवाशीष जाना नामक एक व्यक्ति ने मछली को खरीद लिया। इससे पहले भी ऐसी मछली दीघा में पकड़ी गई थी, जिसकी बोली सात लाख रुपये तक गई थी। इस मछली की इतनी अधिक कीमत की वजह बताई जा रही है कि इस मछली से जीवनदायी दवाएं तैयार होती हैं। इसे विदेशों में निर्यात भी किया जाता है।
