हिमाचल प्रदेश । हिमाचल प्रदेश की 68 विधानसभा क्षेत्रों के लिए आज मतदान हो रहा है. राज्य में कड़ी सुरक्षा के बीच वोटिंग शुरू हो गई है. शाम 5 बजे तक वोट डाले जाएंगे. मतदान को लेकर सुरक्षा के इंतजाम पुख्ता किए गए हैं. इस बार सीधा मुकाबला भारतीय जनता पार्टी की ओर से पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री प्रेम सिंह धूमल और वर्तमान मुख्यमंत्री वीरभद्र सिंह के बीच है.
इससे पहले मंगलवार शाम बीजेपी और कांग्रेस का चुनाव प्रचार खत्म हुआ. दोनों ही पार्टियों ने हिमाचल चुनाव में जी जान लड़ा दी है. कांग्रेस के स्टार प्रचारकों ने हिमाचल में 450 से ज्यादा रैलियां की वहीं बीजेपी की तरफ से अमित शाह ने 6 और प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने 7 बार रैलियों को संबोधित किया. कांग्रेस उपाध्यक्ष भी हिमाचल चुनावों में खासे सक्रीय नजर आए. उन्होंने भी तीन रैलियों को संबोधित किया और तीनों ही रैलियों में जीएसटी और नोटबंदी को मुद्दा बनाकर बीजेपी को घेरा.
मोदी ने की भारी मतदान की अपील
प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने चुनाव से पहले लोगों से भारी मतदान की अपील की. उन्होंने ट्वीट किया, ” आज देवभूमि हिमाचल प्रदेश में मतदान का दिन है. मेरी विनती है कि सभी मतदाता लोकतंत्र के महापर्व में भाग लें और भारी संख्या में मतदान करें.
सीटों के समीकरण की बात करें तो फिलहाल हिमाचल प्रदेश की 68 विधानसभा सीटों में अभी तक कांग्रेस के पास 35 और बीजेपी के पास 28 विधायक हैं. इसके अलावा 4 विधायक निर्दलीय हैं और एक सीट खाली है.
